Two newer Claude models launched cheaper than the model they follow: Claude Opus 5.5 is 20% below Claude Opus 5 on every token price, and cache reads on Claude Fable 5.1 cost a quarter of what they cost on Claude Fable 5. Anthropic's release notes state no list price change to an existing Claude model in the period covered. The other entries are launches at an unchanged price, plus one planned increase that Anthropic cancelled.

What is on this page and what is not
- Only changes Anthropic's own pages state are listed. A model launch appears only when the release notes or the pricing page give its price.
- Earlier prices come from the same official sources. The SpendLint dataset has two snapshots, 2026-09-05 and 2026-10-03. Between them no listed price for an existing Claude model changed, and 2 Claude launches were added.
- Models launched before April 2026 are not listed, because the release notes do not state a price change for them that this page can cite.
- Third-party cloud prices, fast mode premiums and data residency uplifts are outside this page. It tracks the Claude API list price in USD per 1 million tokens.
